We are excited to announce the Rio Grande Valley Center for Teaching and Leading Excellence, i3 Grant Tuition Reimbursement Program. This program is a competitive program aimed to support teachers, employed with PSJA ISD, and interested in pursuing graduate degrees in the four content areas of Mathematics, Science, English and History.
The i3 tuition reimbursement program will reimburse up to 50% of chosen staff members annual tuition costs, up to $5,000. Priority will be given to those in areas of greatest need such as science and mathematics. Applications can be submitted for any graduate course work for June 2013 through May, 2014.You must re-apply every year to receive tuition reimbursement.
Reimbursement for i3 grant tuition funds will only be granted to chosen applicants. Tuition reimbursement will only occur after the qualifying staff members complete the course with a grade of B or higher and submit proof of course payment. Reimbursement advances or direct payment to universities will not be granted.
ELIGIBILITYAll teachers employed with PSJA ISD and have a valid Texas teachers certificate are eligible to apply. Staff members must continue as a full-time employee for twelve months following his/her award.

2012-2013 Reimbursement Deadline for Spring 2013 Semester
06/01/2013 – All reimbursement requests for qualifiers
